Hey, I'm Haylee Paredes. A developer from the Raeford/Fayetteville area, wrapping up my AAS in Computer Programming at FTCC in May 2026. After that I'm moving to Charlotte and starting my CS degree at UNC Charlotte in the fall.

I didn't take the typical path into tech. I actually finished two degrees in Criminal Justice first before I realized programming was what I actually wanted to do. Switching wasn't easy but it was 100% the right call. That experience taught me a lot about committing to something and seeing it through even when it's hard.

When I'm not coding I'm making wire-wrapped crystal jewelry, playing indie games, or just hanging out with my two cats. I'm looking for remote or hybrid entry-level dev roles - especially somewhere that values good communication and people who actually care about their work.
